Montauk Homes for Sale: $500K Lakefront

There are a lot of Montauk homes for sale, but for many the prices seem to be out of reach these days. If you are dreaming of Montauk lakefront homes but feel like you may have missed the boat, then you’re in luck! There is actually a lakefront property in Montauk that can be yours for only $500,000, according to Behind The Hedges.

Unit 3 at the Outrigger co-op complex on East Lake Drive is asking $500,000! This home is easily one of the least expensive Montauk homes for sale right now…but there’s a catch. It’s not exactly a stately mansion. It’s really barely more than a cottage. Or maybe a dollhouse. Haha.

Along with being one of the least expensive Montauk homes for sale, I’d imagine it’s also the smallest. The home clocks in at a mere 260 square feet with one bedroom and one bathroom. The wraparound porch almost doubles the living area, adding another 240 square feet or so.
