Kings Coast Coffee

Kings Coast Coffee is all coffee, no distractions. It’s trying to be the king of Long Island coffee shops while being all about the beans. You won’t find a variety of snacks and sandwiches or hundreds of iced coffee flavors. The shop was opened recently, so their menu is relatively small, and they only offer two choices of milk – organic whole and oat – but the coffee is simply to die for. So don’t let the lack of milk and food options turn you away from this place because you’ll miss out on a lot. Also, be sure to check out their blended, single-origin, and micro-lot coffee.

Kings Coast Coffee will be happy to serve you on any day, except Sunday. They are open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

Anyway, you won’t know unless you try.

You are welcome to Kookaburra Coffee on any day. Monday through Wednesday, their working hours are 6-3:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, it’s 6-4p.m.; Saturday, they work from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, it’s 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Morning Rose Café

Usually, people don’t expect much from coffee in a cafe. Food – yes, food taste and quality get scrutinized, but coffee? You are okay with the lesser the coffee taste if your pancakes taste heavenly. But in Morning Rose Cafe, you don’t have to settle; you can have it all. They’ve got hot and iced coffee, killer cappuccino, fantastic breakfast (banana Nutella crepe, anyone?) and lunch dishes, and the service is friendly and attentive, too.

What more could you want? Well, the food here is literally unbelievable. It’s amazing. I mean, it’s just really special. The last time I went I had a daily special croissant french toast stuffed with goat cheese and topped with pistachios. It was just fantastic.

The French Workshop

The French Workshop, an artisan bakery and coffee shop, takes its job of bringing happiness to Long Islanders seriously. I don’t think there is another shop that understands how beautiful the union of coffee and dessert can be better than The French Workshop. Their Cold Brew, which is slow-brewed for 18 hours, or the espresso, which is 100% Arabica blend, goes really well with any of their various desserts – brownies, macaroons, tarts, or cakes. Give this amazing bakery/coffee shop a try; you won’t be disappointed.

The Witches Brew

After having tried The Witches Brew coffee, I have no problem believing they use sorcery to cook their food and mix their drinks. HAHA. Everything they make looks great, tastes delicious, and gives you intense cravings for more, like a lot more as soon as you leave the place. The bonus, this place is just so fun and so unique, just the vibe and décor alone is worth a trip!! So if you aren’t afraid of magic or getting addicted to this little coffee shop, you are welcome to The Witches Brew from Wednesday to Sunday, from noon to 11 p.m.
