Bethpage Golf Course is one of the most popular and cherished golf courses in the nation. Eisenhower Park
A 930-acre oasis of open space and recreation in the heart of Nassau County, Eisenhower Park is one of the largest public spaces in the New York metropolitan area – larger, in fact, than Central Park. The park offers a full range of athletic and family activities, including one of the finest swimming facilities in the U.S., a major golf facility, dozens of athletic fields and courts, picnic areas, summertime entertainment, playgrounds, fitness trails and more.
Eisenhower features three excellent 18-hole golf courses open to the public: the Red, White and Blue courses. The Red course, which hosted the Commerce Bank (PGA) Championship, has been called by Newsday one of the “Top 10” public golf courses on Long Island. Founded in 1972 , the Glen Cove Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course located on the fabled Gold Coast of Long Island overlooking the Long Island Sound. This is a public course owned by the City of Glen Cove.

Merrick Road Park
Conveniently located just east of the Meadowbrook Parkway and south of Merrick Road in Merrick, this challenging nine-hole, MGA-rated, par-36, 3,200-yard course offers golfers the opportunity to use all their clubs. Elevated greens, open fairways and a practice putting green complement the facility. A golf pro shop and lessons are available.
A certified PGA teaching professional is on site for personal instruction, as well as assistance with equipment purchases in the Pro Shop. This course is owned by the Town of Hempstead.

North Woodmere Golf Course

Rock Hill Golf and Country Club
Rock Hill Golf Club offers 18 Championship Holes est. 1965 and a Golf Academy with a Top 50 Golf Teacher in America. There’s a golf shop, teaching studio, restaurant, and driving range.
Range Members get range balls from March 15th – November 15th, 2021 at the Rock Hill driving range. Range Members also get a 10% discount on any of Michael Jacobs’ lesson programs. Shelter Island Country Club
The Shelter Island Country Club, known affectionately as “Goat Hill,” is a historic, nine-hole public golf course. The course was was established in 1901 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Little has changed in almost 120 years.
The course covers 2,512 yards of widely varying, hilly terrain. These variations keep the course interesting round after round and from season to season. The Club is situated on one the highest points on the island with scenic views of Peconic Bay and Dering Harbor.

Sunken Meadow State Park
Golf course architect Alfred H. Tull (1897-1982) designed what are today the Red and Green Courses in 1964. Tull, who designed the Yellow Course and redesigned the Blue Course at Bethpage State Park in the 1950s, was noted for laying out golf courses without consulting topographical maps. Only after his routing of the course was complete did he overlay his plan on topographical maps. There are 27 holes of golf at Governor Alfred E. Smith.
In the case of Sunken Meadow State Park that terrain is somewhat hilly and variable, surrounded by mature woodlands; resulting in an attractive and relaxing outdoor experience for golfers. The view of the Long Island Sound from the golf driving range is stunning in its beauty.

Timber Point Golf Course
This Colt and Allison design is a 27-hole regulation length, full-service Suffolk County owned facility open to the public.
