Blue Point Brewing Company
Mother Pumpkin Ale
From the brewery: “Our golden orange-colored Pumpkin Ale boasts all the flavors of fall: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice. These spicy characteristics take the lead in this roasty beer while the malty backbone adds to the tremendous depth of character. Pair all these complex flavors with all the pumpkin-spiced/apple crisp flavors found in the dishes of the season!”
From the brewery: “Originally brewed a couple hundred years ago to celebrate the betrothal of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, we’re helping keep the tradition alive by brewing Oktoberfest every fall for our most royal/loyal followers. Blue Point Oktoberfest is a rare example of the traditional German Oktoberfest style, particularly on the East coast where autumn seasonals are more common.”
