Are you interested in learning more about Insignia Steakhouse, one of the top 10 LI steakhouses? This restaurant has a beautiful stone and shingle facade, chic decor, professional staff, and absolutely phenomenal food. If this illustration reminds you of some other steakhouses on Long Island, it’s not because those are the most common descriptive words for a restaurant. It’s because Insignia is another Scotto steak and sushi stunner, and Anthony’s restaurants do resemble each other.
But don’t think that you know what it’s like before you see it; Insignia has its own personality and atmosphere – vibrant, daring, yet classy. And the restaurant is the biggest of the bunch. Also, while it’s on the traditional side, it’s somewhat less so than Blackstone Steakhouse.

Steaks & Chops
As with Scotto’s other places, at Insignia Steakhouse, you simply can’t go wrong with the steaks. The bone-in rib-eye, filet mignon, and porterhouse for two to four are all greater than great. Marinated skirt steak, milk-fed long-bone veal chop, or Kansas City sirloin are something words can’t describe. And if you are all-in, splurge on some Japanese Kobe beef.
For sides, don’t choose fries – those you can eat anywhere; go for roasted cremini mushrooms and/or creamed spinach. Add the cherry (as in wine) on top, and you’ve got yourself a meal that will make you forget who, where, and when you are.
Other Options
Insignia Steakhouse is actually one of those restaurants where nothing lets you down – not the steaks, not the wines, and not the other food options on the menu. So if you decide to have something other than a steak, you won’t have any regrets about it.
Be sure to try some of the sushi and rolls as they get top billing along with the delicious steaks. The raw bar and other seafood dishes (think crabcakes) are also well done. The hefty alternative is a two-pound steamed lobster, which vies with sea scallops with pistachio-cream risotto and candied orange zest.
The traditional sides do well here, but so do the more unique sides. Black truffle macaroni and cheese with lobster and roasted brussels sprouts with onion bacon jam are worth your attention, too.
And for dessert, you can go with the tiramisu cheesecake or the pumpkin croissant bread pudding, or the wild Maine blueberry skillet pie (or all three).

Don’t you just love a good deal? I know I do, especially if this good deal includes a delicious dinner at an incredibly gorgeous restaurant.

Business meetings, fundraisers, birthdays, gender-reveal parties, baby showers – whatever the occasion, this establishment will host it with style.
Safety Measures for COVID-19
Insignia is part of the Anthony Scotto Restaurants’ family, and it takes COVID-19 safety precautions seriously. The staff wears masks all the time, gets checked for coronavirus symptoms, and sanitizes tables (which are set according to the required social distance) regularly. They also can provide a sanitizer for you if you’d like.
Note that you need to make a reservation first, and there is a time limit for your stay. Two guests can dine for 90 minutes, four guests – two hours, and tables with 6+ guests can stay for two and half hours.
Currently, Insignia Steakhouse allows a group of ten at one table if it’s family only or a group of six if not family.
