If you are on Long Island and are looking for an exciting way to spend your weekend, how about ice skating Long Island?
Ice skating is one of a few activities that are suitable for almost any occasion. Do you feel bored with watching movies and want to do something interesting? Go skating! Do you need a romantic setting for your date? Ice skating! Are you looking for a family-friendly place for a birthday party? You get the idea.
Given the versatile nature of this activity, it’s no wonder there are so many ice skating rinks on Long Island. There are more than 20 different rinks all over the place – fourteen in Nassau County and seven in Suffolk County. But not all of them are open for the 2021 winter season.
This guide is meant to help you find a suitable rink for the occasion or a backup one if your favorite ice rink is too crowded or closed.
